TUESDAY TALKS

Yes, the last Tuesday in every month will see our popular Tuesday Talks continue through the Spring of 2010. Captain Caley opened our Autumn season with an amusing evening of tales from a lifetime at sea. This was followed by 2 superb cruising talks, 1st Alan Slorick on Cruising the Fjords of Norway on Graphix. Second but far from least  Mark Hillman who cruised Milly Brown ( Contessa 32 ex Simon Begley) from Maryport to USA via Faroes, Iceland, Greenland and the East Coast. This was a fascinating talk so good we asked Mark back in October to talk about cruising East Coast of USA.

Looking to the coming year, Tuesday January 26th will see John Crompton giving us the inside track on BOAT SURVEYING. Feb 23rd will see David Forshaw talking about LIFEBOATS AT LYTHAM THROUGH THE YEARS. We are hoping to arrange Wessex Resins to come in March & will follow that in April with a talk by a new member Andrew Smith who has sailed 'Round The World With Global Challenge'.
All the talks start at 8.00pm prompt in the clubhouse on Lytham Prom, visitors are always welcome.

Talks are on a Tuesday night: see the Log for more details and the Notices in the Club House. The Bar is open Tuesdays and Friday Nights.
